  • Who it’s for

  • Cyberama

The Cyberama Topic Group was set up with the aim of creating a cybersecurity ecosystem within the Almae Matris Alumni Association Community. The group’s aim is to find and reunite new and old fellow travellers interested in the topic of computer security who want to maintain strong ties with the University. The chapter also offers the opportunity to support young professionals as well as recent graduates and neo-PhDs engaged in creating and/or growing their own startups thanks to a network of specialised professionals through which they can exchange views and ideas, keep themselves continually up-to-date on new industry trends, take part in dedicated events and connect with companies.

The Chapter Leader

Hello, I am Andrea Rossi, Cyberama Chapter Leader.

I graduated in Electronic Engineering from the University of Bologna in 1993.

I am an expert and entrepreneur in the field of Cybersecurity and Identity Management and, over the years, have gained experience in startups and large multinational companies such as Novel and IBM.

I have specific skills in selling complex technologies and in international business development. As co-founder of CrossIdeas, I led a team that quickly became a leader in the Identity Management industry, with a successful acquisition by IBM Corporation in 2014.
