Hello, I am Alessia Meluzzi, LMEC Chapter Leader.
I graduated in Economics from the University of Bologna in 2017 and, soon after, I worked as an intern within the Research Department of the European Central Bank. Subsequently, I was awarded a Master’s degree in Economics at the European University Institute in Florence.
Until December 2020, I worked as a public policy analyst at the OECD - Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development, studying the determinants of the development of students’ non-cognitive skills across educational cycles.
In January 2021, I joined the Department of Economics at the Centre for Research in Economics and Statistics (CREST) in Paris as a PhD student. At CREST, I am involved in a research project on gender differences in the job market and the role of public policies to address them.
I am an avid reader, and I enjoy writing poetry and short stories.
