The Chapter was set up out of the need to find a meeting place for former and current Ciamician students. The aim is to create occasions for socialising, training and stimulating interaction between Alumni and students in order to provide a practical and different view of what the working world can and will offer them.

Hello, I am Stefano Luca Giaffreda, Leader of the Ciamician Chapter.

I graduated in Chemical Sciences from the Department of Chemistry “Giacomo Ciamician” - CHIM at the University of Bologna, where I also obtained my PhD degree (again in Chemistry) in the Crystal Engineering group directed by Prof. Dario Braga.

I am Chairman of the Board of PolyCrystalLine SpA, a company I co-founded, and I am Sole Director of PolyCrystalLine CDMO srl.

I am also Chairman of the Board of Directors of Apulia Diagnostic srl, Sole Director of Apulia Genetics srl and member of the American Chemical Society and DACT - Drug, Chemical & Associated Technologies Association.
