Data: 20 MARZO 2026 dalle 15:00 alle 17:30
Luogo: Accademia delle Scienze dell'Istituto di Bologna - Evento in presenza e online
Tipo: Convegno
Quantum technologies are moving from the blackboard toward real-world applications. This event offers a guided, non-technical tour of what quantum technologies can realistically bring to computing and communication in the coming years. The speakers will paint a broad picture from complementary angles: how quantum information can be encoded and processed in physical platforms such as photon devices, ultracold atoms and quantum gases; what kinds of problems quantum algorithms may help with and what fundamental limits remain; and how quantum principles enable new forms of secure communication, networking, and enhanced sensing.
